While the young, poor, sick, elderly, and disabled are hung out to dry by our Governor here in California, the oil companies get a complete pass. No windfall profits even as they suck the last pennies out of the wallets of those least able to pay. For Gov. Schwarzenegger, it's more important to protect their windfalls than people who might actually suffer.
Imagine 10 more derricks just like that one. Won't that be a lovely complement to the Santa Barbara coastline? Arnold thinks so.
